Call us, and your counselor will first get an overview of your financial situation. (It helps if you have your most recent statements on hand.) As your consultation proceeds, a detailed picture of your monthly budget (income, bills and other expenses) will emerge. Your counselor then may be able to suggest ways to better manage your cash flow, and together, you might be able to devise some simple solutions for managing your debts without enrolling in our program. But if your specific situation calls for a Debt Management (DMP) program, your counselor will show you how enrollment in the program will help you:
Pay less money - now and over time. By negotiating more-favorable repayment terms with your unsecured creditors, like lower interest rates and no late or overlimit fees, you will have more money available every month to go toward paying down your balances or to use for other household expenses.
Pay your debts off faster. You can look forward to paying off your debts in just three to five years, versus over twenty years when making minimum or near-minimum payments.
Reduce stress. When the collection calls stop, you won't have to worry about answering the phone.
Make just one simple payment each month. No more juggling payments; with our program, you simply send out one payment each month, and we take care of the rest.
Gain better control of your finances. We're here to help you better manage your income and expenses. We provide ongoing education and support throughout the program, and provide you with tools and resources to help you control your debt or even avoid it.
Our program is affordable, confidential and, most important - simple!
